Meetings
When: Thursday mornings from 8:30 pm - 9:30 am Evening meeting 4th Thursday of month at 7:00 pm Location: Bethany Lutheran Church Cost: $3 per meeting to offset cost of room Dues New member fee - waived this year Annual Dues - $140.00 (can be paid quarterly) A new member does not pay dues for the month in which she joins the Club. After that she is billed for the rest of the Optimist year, which runs from October 1 through September 30, at a rate of $35.00 a quarter. A member may pay her dues on a quarterly or semi-annual basis. However most members prefer to pay annually. Join us at a meeting!

Open Letter to Prospective Members
Dear Future Optimist Friend, ,
As a friend , we believe that you are a person of integrity and someone who may have an interest in making a difference in the lives of the youth of our community. We hope you might just have the desire it takes to help our youth get the support, hope, and inspiration necessary to live successful lives.
We as members of the Tamarac Optimist Club have a track record of creating and volunteering at rewarding and fun projects for the kids. The club is part of Optimist International, a premier service organization that has clubs in the United States and many places around the world (www.Optimist.org).
Our club is an active, energetic group of 90 plus ladies who meet on a regular basis, volunteer for various projects and fundraisers and have a great deal of fun as well.
